Adrian Huisman receives Ontario merit award

Adrian Huisman, the long-serving general manager of the Ontario Tender Fruit Board and the Fresh Grape Growers Marketing Board, was recently recognized for his contributions to Ontario horticulture. He received the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers’ Association Award of Merit.

Cherry industry recognizes King Orchards, Clinton Smeltzer

The National Cherry Festival Committee gave two awards during cherry industry meetings in Traverse City this week. The Very Cherry Promotion Award went to King Orchards, Central Lake, Michigan, and the Lifetime Achievement Award went to Clinton Smeltzer, Frankfort.
