Spayd to be leaving Washington for North Carolina State
Dr. Sara Spayd, Washington State University Extension food scientist, has accepted a position at North Carolina State University as Extension viticulture specialist. Spayd, who has been with WSU for 25 years, begins her new job in Raleigh in mid-March, where she will devote 60 percent of her time to Extension duties and 40 percent to research. The position is based in the university's horticultural sciences department, where Spayd earned her bachelor's of science degree. WSU plans to fill her position.
