Dear Good Fruit Grower:
Expanding your editorial staff to include Richard Lehnert is a great move. Richard has firmly established himself in the tree fruit industry and his commitment to getting the story and getting it right has been demonstrated repeatedly over his career. In short order, Richard has brought to our attention important and exciting research going on outside the Pacific Northwest.
I anticipate that his work will both enlarge our world and make it smaller all at the same time. I think I can speak on the behalf of the entire research and extension community when I say that we are indebted to Geraldine, Melissa, and Richard for extending our reach and recording our work accurately and in a timely manner…. It is a great partnership. Thanks to everyone that makes the Good Fruit Grower a must-read publication.
