Good Fruit Growers of the Year

Each year, the Good Fruit Grower magazine presents its prestigious Good Fruit Grower of the Year Award to an inspiring and innovative fruit grower, orchard family, or orchard manager in North America.

Recipients are recognized for being good employers and good stewards of their resources and for their focus on growing quality fruit. They also have contributed to the success of the tree fruit industry as a whole.

Nominate someone for the Good Fruit Grower of 2011

The advisory board of Good Fruit Grower magazine is requesting nominations from the tree fruit and grape industries for the annual Good Fruit Grower of the Year award. Nominees may be an individual or family, and must currently reside and work in North America.

Please include:

  • Your contact information
  • Your nominee’s name and contact information
  • A detailed explanation of why you think this person (or persons) deserves the award.

Nominations from growers are due no later than July 31. The Advisory Board, which is made up of industry leaders, will consider your nomination along with others suggested to make the selection. Announcement and an article describing the recipient will be in the January 1, 2012, issue.

Selection Process:

The Grower of the Year is selected by our Advisory Board. These industry leaders meet to discuss all nominations from growers as well as from others who serve the tree fruit and grape industries in North America.
