PrintKuipers to host field day
Kuipers Family Farm, near Maple Park, Illinois, will host the annual Illinois Horticultural Society field day on June 14. The Kuipers bought a 71-acre pumpkin patch in 1998 and shortly afterwards bought the Pine-Apple Orchard across the road. Their operation includes pick-your-own fruit and pumpkins, an orchard shop and bakery, a gift store, and many family activities. It is open from September through December.
