The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Royalty, Queen Samantha Allen and Princesses Devyn Haylar and Hayley Brown, visited the Washington Apple Commission’s headquarters in Wenatchee to meet with President Todd Fryhover and staff. A feature marking the Apple Commission's 75th anniversary was published in the March 15 issue of the Good Fruit Grower.
The Apple Blossom festival, which will take place from April 26 to May 6 in Wenatchee, has been held annually since 1919. Typically, more than 5,000 people watch the festival’s Grand Parade, which is sponsored by Stemilt Growers, one of the largest fruit growing and packing operations in the state.
