Allied Grape Growers is a California winegrape growers cooperative, with nearly 600 members throughout the coastal and interior regions of California. Allied Grape Growers effectively and equitably market winegrapes to more than 60 outlets. Allied is grower owned, and our priority is to provide grower-members with the highest return possible for their grapes.
Allied also strives to provide grower-members with as much up-to-date market information as possible. Allied understands the unique challenge winegrape growers face in the marketing of their crops. Allied provides the services possible to allow them to concentrate on what they do best--grow high quality winegrapes.

The membership of this nonprofit association consists of wineries using Yakima Valley grapes and growers of vinifera grapes within the appellation of Yakima Valley.
This group supports over 11,000 acres of vitis vinifera by promoting the reputation of the Yakima Valley, Washington State's first wine grape growing region, as a premium viticultural area. May 2003 marks the 20th year for Washington's Yakima Valley wine designation as having unique climate, soil, and physical features which distinguish it for producing intensely flavored, balanced, and complex wines. The board of directors and its membership conduct educational vineyard tours and wine tastings for the media and opinion makers in the wine industry.

The California Association of Winegrape Growers is a statewide association dedicated to enhancing the business of growing wine grapes through research, advocacy, and industry leadership.
CAWG represents the growers of more than 50 percent of the gross grape tonnage crushed for wine and concentrate in California. It sponsors the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium, January 27-29, 2004.

The California Canning Peach Association is a bargaining and marketing cooperative, solely owned by cling peach growers, which is responsible for negotiating an equitable price and terms of sale, along with marketing of its members' production. The association represents over 80 percent of the cling peach tonnage produced in California with activities encompassing the peach industry from the orchard to the marketplace, both domestic and foreign.

California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) is a nonprofit, membership-based organic certification and trade association dedicated to promoting and supporting organic agriculture in California and around the world.
Founded in 1973, CCOF was one of the first organizations to certify organic farms in North America. Today, CCOF is the largest organic certification and trade association in California with more than 1,200 members and over 130,000 acres of certified organic land, certifiying over 75% of the certified organic agriculture in state.
California Certified Organic Farmers certifies all stages of organic production and sales, organic farmers, processors, wholesalers, and retailers. CCOF is dedicated to organic certification, public outreach and education about organic food and organic agriculture, and advocacy for governmental policies that protect and encourage organic agriculture in California and throughout the United States. CCOF is a member of the Organic Trade Association and the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM). CCOF is also accredited by IFOAM, and by USDA/AMS for ISO 65 Guide compliance as well as for compliance with the National Organic Program.

The California Cherry Advisory Board administers the state marketing order for four varieties of fresh sweet cherries, which are Bing, Rainier, Van, and Lambert. The board directs advertising and promotion programs in both domestic and foreign markets. The board also compiles statistics and funds research. The board's activities are funded by assessments paid by growers and packers of the four varieties mentioned.

The California Dried Plum Board (CDPB) administers a state marketing order for dried plums (prunes) under the authority of the California Department of Food and Agriculture. CDPB funds advertising, public relations, sales promotion, market research, production, and processing research and educational programs through assessments paid by growers and handlers.

California Pear Growers represents California Bartlett pear growers in bargaining with canners to set price per ton of Bartletts, fruit grade, and size. The association also acts as a clearing house on behalf of its members for information on raw product supply, and pack and movement of canned pears.

The Cherry Marketing Institute (CMI) is a national promotion organization, funded by tart cherry growers in Michigan, New York, Utah, and Wisconsin. CMI's primary focus is on promotion, research, domestic and export market development, and national affairs.
This nonprofit organization was formed in 1989. It currently represents approximately 2,400 tart cherry growers nationally and also operates the brine/maraschino promotion program for National Cherry Growers and Industries Foundation.
