We’re pretty excited about the December issue we are preparing right now, especially coverage of the 2015 Grower of the Year.

We name the winner in December. The grower selected by our Advisory Board represents the very best of our industry. This year’s winner took over farm at a pretty young age and learned in a hurry. This grower is now widely recognized for innovative practices and service to the industry. We will honor this person at the annual meeting of the Washington State Tree Fruit Association, this year in Yakima, at a special banquet sponsored by the magazine.

Your December issue should arrive around the first of the month for U.S. subscribers, with later delivery for international readers. If you are not yet a subscriber, you can do so here.

Our website has a special page showcasing our past Growers of the Year.  We presented the award last year to two outstanding growers, Mike and Craig O’Brien of Prosser, Washington.

We’ve created a new Good Fruit Grower app so it’s much easier to follow our coverage of the Washington hort show using a mobile device. The app is fast and packed with schedule information and exclusive content by our editors. It’s the essential guide to the hort expo, with further enhancements in the pipeline.
