The Washington State Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division will hold a series of presentations for employers at WorkSource Centers in central Washington on May 7, 8, and 9.

The two-hour presentations will focus on best practices relating to three laws that impact agricultural employers: the Migrant Seasonal Worker Protection Act (MSPA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and H-2A Foreign Labor Certification.

Topics will include: record keeping, wages, time keeping, farm labor contractor registration, child labor, housing, and transportation.

May 8, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at WorkSource Yakima, 306 Division Street, Yakima.

May 9, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at Wenatchee WorkSource affiliate, 215, Bridge Street, Wenatchee.
