Apple industry representatives from around the world will convene in Chicago in August for the U.S. Apple Association’s annual Apple Crop Outlook and Marketing Conference.
The event will be held August 22-23 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Representatives from Europe, China, Canada, South America, and the United States will report on the 2013 apple crops in their regions and a panel will discuss the apple juice and concentrate market.
Steve Lutz, with the Nielsen Perishables Group, will speak on apple marketing, and Terry Soto with About Marketing Solutions, Inc., will explain how to market and merchandise successfully to the multicultural shopper.
