Marcus Michelson is a content and design specialist for Good Fruit Grower, helping with all areas of the magazine and website — including editorial design, content production and advertising design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Washington State University.
Originally from Poulsbo, Washington, Michelson came to Yakima in 2003 to work for the Yakima Herald-Republic. He spent the first 12 years there as a copy editor and the final year overseeing the the copy desk as associate news editor. Before coming to Yakima, he worked as a page designer and copy editor for The Daily News in Longview, Washington.
Michelson joined the magazine in 2016. He lives in Terrace Heights with his wife, Tamara, and their Labrador, Doug.
