TERMS & DISCOUNTS

Agency commission (display ads only) is 15%. To qualify for the  discounts, ad files must be made to Good Fruit Grower specifications  (see Digital File Specifications).

Publisher-set ads are noncommissionable. Invoices billed at net rate,  due 30 days from invoice date. Net discount 2% if paid within 10 days of invoice. Interest of 1.5% per month charged on overdue accounts. Accounts not paid within 90 days of invoice will be turned over to collections; advertiser/agency agrees to pay all collection/agency fees and expenses including any applicable legal fees.

Simulated duotones, blends, and gradients must be built to publisher’s specifcations for CMYK reproduction.

Acceptable file types: PDF/X-1a, PDF press-optimized, EPS (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand), TIFF, QuarkXPress, InDesign.

Proofs: If precise color reproduction is desired, please provide a professional quality color contract proof made from the digital le submitted. Good Fruit Grower cannot be responsible for reproduction quality of four-color ads that arrive with laser, inkjet, or other non-contract proofs. Black-only and spot-color ads also should be accompanied by composite and separated laser content proofs.

Resolution: No RGB or low-resolution images. Before submitting, please conrm the color space is CMYK. Images should be TIFF or EPS of at least 300 dpi at their final, scaled measurement. Please do not apply LZW compression when saving TIFFs. Line art or 1-bit images should be 1200 dpi at their nal, scaled measurement. Total area density for CMYK images should not exceed 300%.
