Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service annual meeting and Processed Pear Committee nominations, Yakima WA

Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place at 10 a.m. March 21 during the Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service annual meeting at the W.L. Hansen Building in Yakima, Washington.
The positions are currently held as follows: Washington/Oregon Processor No. 1 positions held by Member Ryan Herrington and First Alternate Steve Carlson and Washington/Oregon Processor No. 3 positions held by Member Richard Baldoz and First Alternate Andy Russick.
Positions to the Processed Pear Committee are each two-year terms beginning July 1, 2024, and expiring June 30, 2026.
The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.
