Processed Pear Committee nominations

Nominations for positions on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during the Columbia Gorge Fruit Growers Assn. annual grower/handler meeting on Dec. 10 at 10:00 a.m. via webinar – Oregon Handler positions currently held by Member (vacant) and First Alternate Jason Moore.
Positions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2021, and expiring June 30, 2023. The PPC encourages women, minorities, and the physically challenged, who qualify to attend and participate in the election proceedings.
The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing.
