PROCESSED PEAR COMMITTEE WASHINGTON POSITION NOMINATIONS
Nominations for a position on the Washington/Oregon Processed Pear Committee will take place during an industry public meeting at 11:45 a.m. as follows: Jun. 5, 2024 – Processed Pear Committee (PPC) Annual Meeting, W.L. Hansen Building, Yakima, WA
Washington Handler #2 First Alternate position currently held by Gene Woodin Jr.
Positions to the Processed Pear Committee are each 2-year terms beginning July 1, 2024, and expiring June 30, 2026.
The Processed Pear Committee was established to administer federal marketing order provisions relating to the handling of pears for processing. This meeting is open to all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, or disability. Persons who require reasonable accommodations or alternative means of communication (such as Braille, large print, sign language) or language interpretation or translation, or special meals, should contact the PPC at (509) 453-4837 at least three (3) business days before the meeting.
