Two blueberry industry groups have announced the keynote speakers for their online event, the Virtual Conference & Expo, scheduled for late September.

The two California-based groups — the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and the North American Blueberry Council — will hold the free event Sept. 28–Oct. 1 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council. 

Keynote speakers are: Michael Hyatt, bestselling author of “The Vision-Driven Leader”; Todd Eagan, a Costco buyer responsible for the company’s berry category since 2000; Eric Rimm, professor of epidemiology and nutrition and director of the cardiovascular epidemiology program at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School; and Vonnie Estes, vice president of technology for the Produce Marketing Association.
