Two events scheduled in November at the Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center will help raise funds for the educational center being built in Prosser, Washington.

Biker Rally Raffle Party, November 1 –  Halloween fun will continue during the Biker Rally Party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Come dressed in your best biker gear. A 2000 Harley-Davidson Millennium Edition softail deuce motorcycle (1,800 miles) will be raffled during the night. A limited number of 300 tickets will be sold and you need not be present to win. Raffle tickets are $100 and can be purchased by calling the Clore Center at (509) 786-1000.

Sips of History: Celebrating 30 years of Yakima Valley AVA, November 21 – Yakima Valley winemakers will reflect on the journey to become the first appellation in Washington and guests will sample Yakima Valley wines. Speakers include Kerry Shiels, winemaker at Cote Bonneville, Dr. Wade Wolfe, Thurston Wolfe Winery, J.J. Compeau, general manager, Kestrel Vintners, and Kay Simon of Chinook Wines. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $35; registration deadline is November 15.
