The Washington Farm Bureau has arranged two distribution sites for free hand sanitizer in Wenatchee and the Yakima area on Thursday, June 4, according to a news release from the Washington State Tree Fruit Association.
G.S. Long Co. is volunteering its Union Gap and Wenatchee locations as distribution points. WFB staff will be on site to facilitate distribution.
The locations are:
Wenatchee — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
G.S. Long Co., 1012 Walla Walla Ave.
Union Gap — 1 to 4 p.m.
G.S. Long Co., 602 West Valley Mall Blvd.
Please contact the Washington Farm Bureau directly with any questions. Its phone number is 360-357-9975.
Supplies will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
WFB has received many requests for sanitizer. If you have not already placed your request, send an email Ben Tindall at firstname.lastname@example.org and include:
—The name of your farm
—The number of employees at your farm
—The county or counties in which you farm
—The number of gallons you desire
—The location you plan to attend
Sending an email does not guarantee that you will receive your requested supply.
WSTFA and WFB extend a special thanks to G.S. Long Co. for providing its facilities to distribute these needed supplies. Please do not call G.S. Long related to this event; it is serving only as the distribution site and has no control over the inventory.
