Instead of gathering together for the traditional scholarship celebration luncheons held each year, the Washington Apple Education Foundation is recognizing the organization’s scholarship recipients and donors with an online campaign that features a short video with heartfelt expressions of gratitude from some of their 320 current students.
“Given the current situation, we are excited to recognize students and luncheon sponsors in this way,” WAEF Executive Director Jennifer Witherbee said in a news release.
