For decades, Good Fruit Grower has been recognized as a central resource for fruit growers, not just in the Pacific Northwest but across the country and the world. We’ve long been known for our in-depth technical articles and, in more recent years, supplemented that essential information with outstanding photography, graphics, video and online resources available at growers’ fingertips.
What we also want to be known for: great service. To that end, I’m happy to announce our newest hire to oversee Good Fruit Grower’s circulation and audience development efforts.
Nashalee Holman comes to us with an accounting background and a degree from the University of Puerto Rico. She is number-savvy, tech-oriented and fluent in Spanish, key to helping us interact and communicate with our growing Hispanic audience. Most importantly, she is eager to ensure you, our growers, receive the excellent service you deserve.
In her spare time, she’s a married mother to a 14-month-old son, Perseus — which, of course, means she doesn’t really have spare time. In her three years in the Yakima Valley, though, she’s already developed an affinity for the fruit industry.
“I’m excited to take on this new opportunity and challenge,” she said. “This industry is so diverse. There’s a lot to learn and I’m eager to see where we can better serve growers.”
Circulation is one of those behind-the-scenes positions at the magazine, but it’s essential to everything we do, and we’re happy to have her join us. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions of anyone on our staff. And join us in welcoming Nashalee aboard! You can reach Nashalee at 509-853-3515, toll-free at 1-800-487-9946 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
