Registration is open for the winter session of the Latino Agriculture Education for Viticulture Program in Central Washington, according to a news release from the program.

The three-level course, taught primarily in Spanish, is a partnership between the Washington Winegrowers Association, Wenatchee Valley College and Yakima Valley College.

Level 2, Advanced Viticulture, and Level 3, Vineyard Management and Integrated Pest Management, will be taught at Yakima Valley College’s Grandview campus. Weekly classes on Fridays will run from November through March. Each course costs $325.

Students must have already taken the Level 1 course, Introcuction to Viticulture, to enroll. It will be offered again next fall.
