July 3 is the deadline to register for one of three, half-day workshops on grapevine viruses and associated diseases to be held during the second week of July. The afternoon workshops are being held in Spanish and will take place in three Washington locations: July 8 in Toppenish, July 9 in Prosser, and July 10 in Pasco.

The Washington Association of Grape Growers says, “These workshops will provide classroom instruction about grapevine viruses, associated diseases, symptoms, importance of detection, and how the spreading of viruses can be controlled.”

Each workshop is planned to run less than four hours and cost $20.
