The Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission is holding its annual NW Cherry Research Review from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 12 at the Confluence Technology Center in Wenatchee, Washington.

The program will feature continuing research project reports on Western X and little cherry disease, fungicide resistance and precision pollination systems and an update on the Washington State University-Prosser sweet cherry breeding program.

Final reports will be presented on control strategies for spotted wing drosophila and powdery mildew management as well as the results of a mid-Columbia survey for cherry viruses and vectors. In the afternoon, new proposals will be introduced for funding consideration.

A full agenda will be uploaded to the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission website (www.treefruitresearch.com) approximately two weeks in advance of the review.
