The application period is open for the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s 2014 Specialty Crop Grant program.
The USDA and Washington State Department of Agriculture expects to award at least $3 million in grant awards to improve the competitiveness of the state’s specialty crops.
The program has two phases, beginning with the concept proposal deadline set for 5 p.m., Feb. 28.
