Registration is open for Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training courses in March and April, subsidized by the Washington State Department of Agriculture. 

The one-day class fulfills the the Food Safety Modernization Act Produce Safety Rule requirement that at least one supervisor on the farm must have completed a food safety training course, according to a press release from the Washington State Tree Fruit Association announcing the upcoming trainings on March 23 and 24 in Yakima and April 8 and 9 in Wenatchee. 

Registration is $50 and will include a PSA Grower Training Manual, a certificate of attendance from the Association of Food and Drug Officials, lunch and refreshments.
