The Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission invites everyone interested to attend this year’s Technology Research Review online Dec. 2 from 9–11 a.m. 

According to a news release from the research commission, this virtual event will feature:

—Continuing research project reports on modeling orchard effects on meteorological measurements.

—Validation of plant-based sensors for irrigation decisions.

—Decision support tools for precision orchard management.

—The Next Fruit 4.0 project (a collaboration between the United States and the Netherlands).

Final reports will be presented on:

—A novel automatic crop health observer.

—A novel on-the-fly, variable-rate airflow and distribution sprayer.

—Year 2 of the Smart Orchard project. 

A full agenda and project reports will be uploaded to the research commission website (treefruitresearch.org/technology-research-review) approximately two weeks in advance of the review.
