In recent months, Good Fruit Grower has increasingly fielded calls not just from growers, but also service providers, industry groups and universities seeking assistance to fill key roles in their respective organizations.

Everyone also usually needs to fill them very quickly — which precludes the print magazine with its tight deadlines and long production time from being much help in the effort. We hope we’ve come up with a solution, one specific to this industry, that helps to meet that need.

Good Fruit Grower has launched a jobs board on its website (goodfruit.com/jobs) for the tree fruit, grape and blueberry industries. There are a handful of positions already posted there, and we expect the number of listings to grow as more people learn about it.

Just like the Spanish edition we launched several years ago, Good Fruit Grower en Español (found at: goodfruit.com/es), this new endeavor reflects our long-standing efforts to best serve this industry. We continually strive to improve our print magazine, videos, email newsletter, social media channels and, yes, the website, to ensure growers can succeed for years to come.

So, whether you’re a grower seeking a horticulturalist or an extension educator aiming to find a new gig, we hope you’ll find the site useful. It’s an easy 1-2-3 process to post to the jobs board online, but if you have any problems or questions, circulation coordinator Travis Huff can be reached at: travis@goodfruit.com.

And, as always, please don’t hesitate to let us know what you think. We welcome the feedback.
