The Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission will hold Tuesday’s technology research review by video conference only, due to snowy weather.

Administrators are setting up a video conference link and ask those interested to check the research commission’s review webpage at treefruitresearch.com/research-reviews/technology-review for further details later today.

The annual review had been scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Wanapum Dam visitor’s center in Beverly, Washington. That physical meeting has been cancelled.

CHERRY DAY IS POSTPONED (Feb 12, 2019)

The Columbia Gorge Discovery Center is unable to keep their driveway or parking lot free of snow. I will be working with our speakers and the Discovery Center to reschedule Cherry Day.

Regarding the Winter Hort Meeting: I have been in contact with the folks at the Gorge Room in Hood River, and Steve and I have been closely monitoring the weather. Currently, there are no plans to postpone the Winter Hort Meeting. However, given the weather things could change.

Please stay safe and warm.
