Germaine Etcheverry Newstead joined the Good Fruit Grower staff in July 2019 and is our advertising sales manager. She was initially hired for our advertising sales coordinator position and then worked as advertising sales representative before taking on the lead role for the magazine’s advertising department. Her current responsibilities include coordinating print and digital advertising sales and representing Good Fruit Grower at agricultural trade shows and industry events.
A native of Bakersfield, California, Newstead earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from California State University, Fresno. In addition to working in fruit sales, Newstead has experience in customer service and sales for Starbucks Corp., Shurfine International and Nestle Foods Corp.
