Marcus Michelson was a content and design specialist for Good Fruit Grower, helping with all areas of the magazine and website — including editorial design, content production and advertising design. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Washington State University.
Originally from Poulsbo, Washington, Michelson came to Yakima in 2003 to work for the Yakima Herald-Republic. He spent the first 12 years there as a copy editor and the final year overseeing the the copy desk as associate news editor. Before coming to Yakima, he worked as a page designer and copy editor for The Daily News in Longview, Washington.
Michelson was with the magazine from 2016 to 2018.
